Instructor Assisted Deployment (IAD)

After your extensive classroom and hands-on first jump course, you will be fitted with our top of the line, state of the art equipment, and will fly to an altitude of approximately 4,500 feet above the ground to make your first jump. As you exit the aircraft your USPA certified instructor will deploy your parachute for you and you can enjoy a beautiful and peaceful parachute ride while an instructor on the ground guides you to the landing area by giving you instructions on a radio.

The requirements for making an IAD jump are:

  • Complete all required waivers
  • Be in good health
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Not exceed 225 pounds
  • Wear proper attire for the weather and please wear tennis shoes - no boots, sandals, flip flops.

The cost is $175, which includes instruction and first jump. Additional jumps are $50 each for solo jump (once you have been signed off) or $75 each for a coached jump, until you earn your "A" license. Participants must call ahead to schedule their IAD skydive.  A $50 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold your spot in the first jump course and will be applied toward the cost of your first jump.   If you cancel less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled jump course you will lose your deposit.  If you do not show up for your scheduled first jump course you will lose your deposit.  The first jump course is an all day training course, so plan accordingly.

IAD skydives are available on weekends and some holidays so call now!
